I just got back from a weekend trip to Atlanta, and from Atlanta a little trip to Newnan or Myrtle Lake. We visited an amazing little get-a-way in Newnan, and the summer home of this great family. What a great morning we spent with them. It was so much fun laughing, enjoying each other's company and and checkin' out all of the awesome things that make their summer house a HOME!! What a special trip back in time.

Senior Summer Special...

A Little Down Time...

Every now and then we all need a little escape from our everyday existence. For the next couple of weeks, I am going to take a little time to escape from work and my day to day routine.

Even though I am not much for traveling, it has been a whole year that I have been traveling around shooting some amazing weddings and portraits. You guys have been wonderful to fill my days with the important people and events in your life and I couldn't be more grateful.

For this home body, this past year has really taken me out of my comfort zone and pushed me to be resourceful. I wish that I could say that the next couple of weeks would be spent with my feet kicked up in the comforts of my own home, but even my little escape is going to be filled with much travel. I promise many images to show you all the experience.

Jonah and Jesse...

It was a pleasure to meet Heather and her two beautiful children. Heather wanted to do a shoot of her daughter and some of the two kids together, which is always so sweet. As they walked in the door, Jonah was hiding behind Heather's leg and playing the bashful card. It took no time to bring him out of his shell and come up with these AMAZINGLY clean expression shots of him. As you can see, he is an absolute doll and his baby sister was the sweetest angel. We undressed her, moved her, redressed her, changed sets, etc. and she never once made a peep. What a little doll. This was such a relaxed shoot and some great shots.

Katie Grace / Caroline

The delightful and adorable Katie Grace and Caroline from a shoot in the heart of Roswell, Georgia. Always dressed to the nines, and always smiling and cheerful. Such a joy to photograph and so without further ado, Katie Grace and Caroline...

Will

I had the most fun shoot with the most adorable family. The son, Will, was so easy to photograph, and just so innocent in his exploring of the grounds and the tire swing. I just love it when kids are bashful about trying something and then we can't pull them away once they venture to give it a shot. Isn't he just the sweetest little boy.

Matt .&. Loreal

Matt and Loreal and two of my favorite people. They have a natural way of making me feel like I am one of their family...just one of the reasons that I love my job! Matt and Loreal had a beautiful lakeside, spring wedding at a luxurious resort on Lake Lanier. The service was so touching, and as a tribute to those that are no longer with us, the family had a meaningful dove release. It was gorgeous and so symbolic. I have to give props to all of their family and friends for the love and warmth that they showed to Matt and Loreal, and for the real celebration that was their wedding day. Thanks to all of you and GO BIG BLUE, but most importantly thanks to Matt and Loreal. Knowing you and working with you has truly been a blessing. Best of luck to you both as you venture into this new chapter in your life and love.

Jen/Halle and Alex...

I adore Jen and Halle. They are just terrific and have always made me look like a Rockstar. This time for a "Father's Day" surprise we were going to shoot Jen and Halle together, and then Jen brought a long her little sister, Alex, for a surprise for her own dad. Who knew that Alex would be as gorgeous as the other two and that we would have such a fun shoot. It is always a pleasure to see you guys. What a wardrobe...
